Welcome to Ostan na Rosann, situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Dungloe, overlooking Dungloe bay. The hotel is situated in the rugged North West of Donegal and is owned and run by the McBride family and they and their staff will take care to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. There are a range of menus catering for all tastes and budgets, using fresh local produce. Choose from a wide selection of contemporary dishes; a table d’hote menu; bar meals served in the informal atmosphere of an Irish Pub; or a menu specifically for children. All menus feature vegetarian options.

Location

The hotel is about 2.5 hours from either Belfast or Larne. There are numerous ferry crossings ( minimum of 12 per day ) between the UK and Ireland giving the traveller a choice of times and providers. The main ferry operators are: Stena Line, P&O European Ferries and Seacat. Information is available from any Irish Tourist Board offices. From Dublin, the hotel is approximately 4 hours drive. The nearest airport is Carrickfinn (CFN) which is 7 kilometres from the hotel. There are daily schedules to and from Dublin. Welcome to the Ostan Na Rosann, we have 48 ensuite bedrooms all with tea/coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone, satellite television. The rooms vary from Singles, Doubles, Family & Interconnecting Rooms and of course we have our Unique Bridal Suite which has its own personal living area. Our rooms were recently renovated to the highest of standards and over half have panoramic views of the spectacular Dungloe Bay. Each room has a writing bureau and luggage rack and wardrobe. Our Leisure Centre offers all of our Resident’s complimentary use of all its facilities. Our heated swimming pool is 18m long and at its full depth 1.8m. Other facilities include our Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi and fully equipped cardio-vascular and resistance gymnasium. We offer a children’s play area and a fully qualified gym instructor can be on hand to assist you in your training needs and give health evaluations to suit all individuals needs. We have weekly classes which include: Children and Adult Swim Lessons. Aqua Aerobics Circuit Classes Mother and Toddler Group
