Location 
Tralee is situated in the south west of Ireland and is home to the famous Rose of Tralee International Festival, which takes place in August of every year. Thousands of people flock to Tralee to join in on the atmosphere and of course to see the beautiful roses. Tralee races also take place in during the festival week.
There are a whole host of activities for the whole family to enjoy; make a splash at the Aquadome waterworld in Tralee, or explore Craig Caves. Siama Tire will entertain you with music, folklore, song and dance. For the avid or novice golfer, an array of golf courses surround you to test your swing. Try Tralee Golf Club, an 18 hole championship course, Dooks Golf links in Glenbeigh or Killarney Golf and Fishing Club in Killarney.
The south west of Ireland itself has breathtaking views and idyllic beaches. The Ring of Kerry which meanders round the Atlantic coast, is perfect for water sports, horse riding and sun bathing.

Dining
Samuel Restaurant, renowned for it's superb cuisine, high standards and intimate relaxing atmosphere, yet suitable for formal and informal occasions, is one of the finest restaurants in Tralee. Our head chef Ray Duffy provides an A La Carte and four course Table D'Hote menu each evening. Enjoy a cuisine delight in our dining room where attention and creativity is our hallmark. Our Traditional style pub is known locally as "The Pikeman Bar", so called as the Pikeman Statue ("Croppy Boy") is just outside our front door on the main street. Our bar food menu is second to none and offers a wide and extensive choice of excellent food at moderate prices. Our Bar Food Menu finishes at 9.30pm to facilitate our Traditional Irish Music Sessions every Friday night all year around and nightly during Summer months, which have proved very popular with locals and visitors alike.
Breakfast is served from 7:30am – 9:30am and is price inclusive
Lunch is available from 12:30pm – 14:30pm

Conference and meeting
The Grand Hotel Tralee can offer two Banqueting Rooms, one catering for 80 guests, the other 200 guests. Menus can be arranged on request.
The six Meeting/Conference rooms are very popular and have been furnished to a very high standard. They are all multipurpose and are regularly used for stockrooms, conference, meetings, etc.
The Grand Hotel also has conference equipment for hire, as well as a range of refreshments to cater for your needs.
